Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
Manage the recruitment and selection processes for all local and foreign workers.
Handle administrative matters related to all local and foreign employees in the Company; including maintaining an update\-to\-date master list of employees, renewing passports and work permits, issuing check out memos (COM), applying for workers’ special passes (when needed) and arranging workers’ FOMEMA medical check\-ups.
Work closely with Management to enhance work relations in order to optimize productivity and improve staff retention. Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances or other issues.
Maintain proper and complete filing of all Company’s personnel documents; including personnel files, workers’ passports and work permits.
Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation and preservation of human capital.
Assess training needs to apply and monitor training programs.
Liaise between the company and government or non\-governmental agencies as well as local authorities and foreign embassies in all matters related to employees in the company.
Conduct orientation \& induction programs for new recruits.
Assess employees’ training needs to and plan, organise and monitor training programmes and update training records and external training certificates
Monitor and manage the Company’s workers hostels and ensure compliance with all laws, regulations and government guidelines governing the management of workers’ hostels as contained in the Buku Panduan Penginapan Pekerja (AKTA 446\) Versi April 2021.
Report periodically to the Management on matters or issues related to the workers’ hostels and/or accommodation.
Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance.
Maintain the benefits and pay schedule.
Manage the Company’s disciplinary processes and report and file accordingly.
Nurture a positive working environment.
Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management
To monitor the workers’ punch cards daily as well as verify their overtime claims.
Requirement of knowledge and skills
Must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Human Resource Management.
Knowledge of ISO 9001 and 13485 standard is preferable.
Knowledge of labour legislation particularly in employment contract, employee leave and insurance is preferable.
Knowledge of Malaysia Labour Law such as Employment Act, Industrial Relation Act and Policy is preferable.
Knowledge of payroll system, Microsoft Word, Excel and Time Management system.
Able to multitask and work under pressure as well as independently , problem\-solve and think critically.
