Ensuring that construction sites, including high voltage (HV) substation projects, operate safely and comply with all relevant health and safety regulations. The Site Safety Supervisor is responsible for promoting a culture of safety, conducting safety training, and monitoring compliance with safety protocols.

Creating and implementing site\-specific safety plans that outline safety procedures, protocols, and emergency response plans.
Conducting risk assessments to identify potential hazards on\-site and developing strategies to mitigate those risks.
Regularly inspecting the construction site to ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
Identifying unsafe practices or conditions and taking corrective actions to address them promptly.
Keeping the workforce informed about new safety regulations, best practices, and any changes to safety procedures.
Investigating accidents, incidents, and near misses to determine their causes and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
Preparing detailed reports on incidents and safety violations and communicating findings to management and relevant authorities.
Developing and implementing emergency response plans for various scenarios, including accidents, fires, and natural disasters.
Conducting regular safety drills and exercises to ensure that all personnel are familiar with emergency procedures.
Acting as a liaison between management, workers, and regulatory agencies regarding safety issues and concerns.
Keeping accurate records of safety training, inspections, incidents, and compliance with safety regulations.
**What You Bring:**
A degree in occupational health and safety, environmental science, engineering, or a related field is often preferred.
Relevant safety certifications, such as Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Occupational Health and Safety Administration (OSHA) certifications, or equivalent, are highly beneficial.
Previous experience in safety management or supervision in construction or industrial environments, particularly in high voltage or electrical projects, is essential.
Strong understanding of local, state, and federal safety regulations and standards applicable to construction and electrical work.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with workers, management, and regulatory agencies.
Strong leadership abilities to influence and motivate workers to prioritize safety.
Ability to analyze safety data, identify trends, and develop strategies for improvement
