As an **Account Executive /Senior Account Executive**, you will be responsible for supporting and managing the full spectrum of finance operations at both HQ and across regional branches. This role includes financial processing, monthly closing, audit coordination, and compliance activities.
**Job Responsibilities:**
a) Perform day\-to\-day finance operations and manage all account\-related matters for both HQ and regional branches.
b) Responsible for invoicing, receivables, issuing receipts, processing payment vouchers, and handling staff claims across HQ and branches.
c) Handle banking matters including online approvals, Fixed Deposits, Repos, Bank Guarantees (BG), and Letters of Guarantee (LG).
d) Perform monthly bank reconciliations, branch account reconciliations, and reconciliation of assigned clearing accounts.
e) Perform statutory payroll processing and ensure full compliance with EPF, SOCSO, PCB, and other regulatory requirements.
f) Perform finance\-related secretariat functions for external organizations under MICCI (e.g., CMBB, PMHA, PPSC, E\-Commerce).
g) Assist in the preparation of the annual budgets and financial forecasts for HQ and all branches
h) Support the consolidation of full set accounts and cash flow projections for HQ and branches.
i) Prepare monthly financial reviews and variance analyses to support management reporting.
j) Liaise with internal departments, external auditors, tax agents, banks, regulatory authorities, and government bodies on all finance, audit, and tax\-related matters.
k) Assist in annual audit exercises, preparation of financial statements, and corporate tax submissions. Collaborate with auditors to support year\-end audit processes:
i. Prepare all required audit schedules.
ii. Verify inter\-company balances and related transactions.
iii. Gather data and prepare supporting documents for deferred tax, tax provisions, fixed assets, depreciation, fixed deposits, and other income.
iv. Ensure proper elimination of inter\-branch balances and transactions.
v. Coordinate with branches to obtain information needed for audit or tax queries.
l) Manage confidential financial information and maintain up\-to\-date accounting records.
m) Ensure accurate and systematic filing of financial documents in compliance with audit and internal control standards.
n) Perform any ad hoc finance\-related tasks or assignments as directed by the Executive Director or Finance Manager.
**Job Requirements**
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or any related field.
- Minimum 3\-5 years of working experience in a similar role.
- Familiar with accounting software (preferably ZOHO Books, SQL, or equivalent).
- Knowledge of full set accounts and basic tax computation is required.
- Strong command of English and Bahasa Malaysia (spoken and written).
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- High integrity, attention to detail, and a proactive mindset.
