• We are seeking a capable and decisive **Assistant Operations Manager** to oversee and support **factory and office operations.** The candidate must be able to make informed decisions independently, ensure regulatory compliance, and execute tasks efficiently. A background in health science is preferred to better support our operations related to healthcare, special\\-purpose food, and health products.

    **Key Responsibilities:**
    * Participate in cross-functional team meetings
    * Handle customer inquiries and complaints
    * Monitor market competition and provide insights

    **Operational Management:**

    * Oversee and ensure smooth day\\-to\\-day factory and office operations.
    * Identify and resolve operational issues with minimal supervision.
    * Optimize operational processes to improve efficiency and reduce risks.

    **Compliance and Government Liaison:**

    * Liaise with government agencies (e.g., MOH, MITI, Bomba, DOE, Local Authorities) to ensure all operations comply with applicable laws and best practices.
    * Support preparation for audits, inspections, and license renewals.
    * Maintain up\\-to\\-date knowledge of health, safety, environmental, and food\\-related regulations.

    **Decision\\-Making and Reporting:**

    * Exercise critical thinking to make operational decisions aligned with company goals.
    * Prepare structured and timely reports to the Operations Manager.
    * Escalate critical matters promptly and responsibly.

    **Process Improvement:**

    * Propose and implement operational improvements based on observations and data.
    * Support initiatives related to ISO, GMP, HACCP, HALAL, and other certifications where applicable.

    **Team and Coordination Support:**

    * Coordinate with QA, Safety, Maintenance, Admin, and other supporting teams to ensure overall operational effectiveness.
    * Encourage a culture of compliance, efficiency, and accountability.

    **Requirements:**
    * Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
    * Team player with ability to work independently
    * Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia

    * Diploma/Degree in Health Sciences, Food Science, Biomedical Science, Pharmaceutical Science, or related fields.
    * Minimum 3–5 years of operational experience, preferably in manufacturing (healthcare, food, pharmaceutical sectors preferred).
    * Strong understanding of regulatory compliance (especially health, safety, environmental, and food industry standards).
    * Critical thinking skills with the ability to make sound decisions independently.
    * Excellent organizational, communication, and reporting skills.
    * High level of accountability, integrity, and attention to detail.

    **Advantages (Bonus Skills):**

    * Experience with ISO, GMP, HACCP, HALAL certification processes.
    * Familiarity with handling government applications and site inspections (MOH, NPRA, JAKIM, etc.).
    * Exposure to lean management, productivity improvement, or facility management in health\\-related industries.
