• **JOB SUMMARY:**

    The IT and Facilities Officer is responsible for managing the organization’s IT infrastructure, ensuring the availability, security, and performance of systems and networks, and overseeing the maintenance and operation of facilities. The role involves technical support, asset management, vendor coordination, and compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.

    **JOB SPECIFICATION**

    **1\.** **IT Support and Administration**

    • Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot IT hardware, software, and network systems.
    • Provide first\-line support for end\-users, resolving technical issues promptly.
    • Manage user accounts, access controls, and permissions.
    • Ensure cybersecurity measures, including firewalls, antivirus, and regular system updates.
    • Monitor system performance and optimize IT infrastructure for reliability and efficiency.
    • Oversee IT asset inventory and maintain accurate records.

    **2\.** **Facilities Management**

    • Ensure the upkeep, maintenance, and functionality of office facilities, equipment, and workspaces.
    • Coordinate with vendors and contractors for repairs, installations, and scheduled maintenance.
    • Monitor energy usage, security systems, and workplace safety compliance.
    • Oversee procurement and inventory of facility supplies.
    • Plan and execute office relocations, renovations, or space optimization initiatives.

    **3\.** **Vendor and Budget Management**

    • Liaise with external service providers for IT and facilities\-related requirements.
    • Evaluate and negotiate vendor contracts to ensure cost\-effectiveness and quality.
    • Assist in budget preparation for IT and facilities projects and monitor expenditure.

    **4\.** **Compliance and Documentation**

    • Ensure compliance with IT security policies, data protection regulations, and facility safety standards.
    • Maintain documentation for IT procedures, facilities management protocols, and risk assessments.
    • Prepare regular reports on IT and facilities performance, incidents, and resolutions.

    **Education:**

    • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in IT, Facilities Management, or a related field.

    **Experience:**

    • At least 3 years of experience in IT support or facilities management.

    **Language:**

    • Bahasa (Preferred)
    • English (Preferred)

    Pay: RM3,000\.00 \- RM4,000\.00 per month
