**Job Summary**

  • To support and work closely with technical personnel in day to day laboratory operations which include delivering best effort to ensure efficiency and cost effectiveness.
  • To manage and maintain new and existing technical documents, records, procedures of the department accordance to company policy and industry standard.

  • Perform various field and laboratory tests on soils, concrete, tensile and aggregate materials.
  • Observe construction in progress and report to the technical manager.
  • Perform routine excavation observations on projects with and without geotechnical investigation
  • To ensure all laboratory personnel’s will adhere to good professional practice at all times.
  • Inform technical manager of on\-site conditions or practices which appear questionable or not in compliance with project specifications.
  • Manages and directs the activities of assigned personnel in the laboratory. Performs supervisory functions as establish by management for this job.
  • Liaises with the clients concerned to receive advice regarding lab/ site testing. Coordinates the preparations of appropriate work areas for clients, sets up the required tools, equipment, materials and protocols of experiments and tests and calibrates equipment to ensure proper functioning.
  • Performs other related duties such as maintaining and updating a info on equipment lists, procedure of testing, ensuring the practice of good housekeeping, salvaging equipment’s and materials where possible, etc.
  • Checking and verified on the Job sheet / Preliminaries Report.
  • Responsible for maintaining in proper working order equipment, instruments and related apparatus, which may be highly specialized or prototype ; trouble\-shoots and resolves problems of unusual difficulty; may be responsible for design, construction or modification of such equipment.
  • Prepares or supervises preparations of samples for analysis or testing.
  • Prepare various levels of reporting responsibilities depending on the scope of services of a project
  • Review observation and test data for accuracy and completeness
  • Work independently
  • Work with project engineers and clients to ensure that client specifications are followed.

**Qualifications and Skills**

  • Experience more than 2 years and above
  • Degree in Civil engineering or geoscience
  • Male
  • Age between 25 \- 35 years old

Job Types: Full\-time, Permanent

Pay: RM2,000\.00 \- RM2,500\.00 per month
