DESIGNATION : Cook
RESPONSIBILITIES
Prepare lunch and dinner according to the established menu.
Prepare snacks for morning and evening tea.
Ensure the availability of sufficient boiled drinking water.
Wash all cooking utensils after use.
Maintain the tidiness and cleanliness of the kitchen.
Perform housekeeping duties for refrigerators, chillers, and freezers on a fortnightly basis.
Supervise and assist residents in the thorough cleaning of the kitchen.
Wash the cooking hood once a month.
Collect vegetables regularly from the wholesale market.
Serve meals according to the daily schedule.
Assist in organizing special meals and parties.
Participate in the fundraising activities of the Centre.
Undertake any other relevant duties as requested by the Centre Manager.
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum qualification of SPM level or equivalent.
OTHER INFORMATION
**Other Compentencies:**
Proven experience as a cook is advantageous.
Excellent hygiene and cleanliness standards.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
**Duty Hours:**
Monday to Saturday: 9\.00am 12\.30 noon and 1\.30pm \-5\.30pm
