Carry out all safety precautions and preventive maintenance of all electrical installations for LV distributions and 11kV system
Responsible for the smooth day to day running of all facility and supporting system like electricity, HVAC, compressed air, gases, chiller, boiler, other electrical system associated with the firefighting
Carry out visits and perform daily checks of the switchboards, switching tools, generator sets, feeder pillars, circuit breakers, and other power tools under the custody and record the status of the equipment in the Chargeman daily logbook.
Responsible for all facility maintenance planning and execution
Ensure the requirements of quality and operations are met and to implement a total preventive maintenance system
Ensure all electricity supply connected to machinery and utilities are in safe condition to use
Develop cost reduction programs especially in electricity usage for the plant maintenance
Prepare and review or update standard operating procedure relating to facility engineering
Occupation Safety and Health and Environment System Control are met
Responsible for any repair work of building and facilities in the whole factory premises
Carry yearly renewal of Chargeman according to Energy Commission requirement
Liaise with utilities providers such as TNB and adhering to government regulatory bodies on utility services.
**Requirements**
Certificate of the competency for High Voltage BO issued by the Energy Commission
Minimum ten (10\) years working experience as Chargeman in manufacturing environment especially in FMCG industry
Knowledgeable in general electrical / mechanical engineering works
Ability to interact and deal effectively with all levels of management and staff
Must possess good planning knowledge analytical skills
Able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines and resolve conflict.
