**Responsibilities:**

**Failure Analysis:**

  • Perform thorough inspections and testing on defective products to identify root causes of failure.
  • Use various measurement tools and techniques (e.g., caliper, Video Measuring Machine, and etc.) to analyze the root cause of failures.
  • Document all findings and results, including visual inspections, test outcomes, and any abnormalities observed.

**Reporting \& Documentation:**

  • Prepare detailed failure analysis reports including root cause identification, corrective actions and recommendations for improvement.
  • Maintain accurate records of all analyzed failures, tests conducted and corrective actions taken.

**Collaboration with Engineering \& QA Teams:**

  • Work closely with engineering, quality and production teams to communicate findings and ensure that corrective actions are implemented.
  • Assist in troubleshooting and resolvinfg manufacturing and product quality issues based on analysis results.

**First Article \& Daily Inspection:**

  • Conduct First Article inspection on samples and combine the measurement data for PPAP submission.
  • Review GR\&R, FAI and DIM/CP/CPK reports before submission them to the FA/QA Engineer.
  • Liaise with relevant departments on issues relating to set up, first article, in\-process or outgoing inspection.
  • Prepare work instructions for measurement.

**Continuous Improvement:**

  • Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying recurring failure patterns and suggesting process improvements.
  • Assist in improving product design and manufacturing processes to prevent future failures.

**Preventive Actions:**

  • Participate in cross\-functional team meetings to discuss failure trends and preventive measures.
  • Assist in implementing preventive measures to reduce the recurrent of known failures in future production runs.

**Equipment Maintenance \& Calibration:**

  • Ensure that all failure analysis equipment and tools are properly maintained, calibrated and in good working condition.

**Maintain \& 5S:**

  • Assist in up keeping and maintaning the housekeeping level of QC Department.

**Qualifications \& Skills:**

  • Diploma/Certificate in Electronics, Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field.
  • 2\-3 years of experience in failure analysis or product testing in a manufacturing environment.
  • Familiarity with industry standards for product reliability and quality (e.g. IPC, ASTM, ISO standards) is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of failure analysis methods and techniques.
  • Skilled in CMM programming, capable of reading and analyzing measurement data for quality and precision.
  • Able to understand and interpret technical 2D mechanical drawings, including GD\&T symbols.
  • Analytical and problem\-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to interpret schematics, engineering drawings and technical specifications.
  • Good communication skills to explain findings and recommendations.
